So, I’ve been gone from WoW because my monitor died. I’m now in the process of researching a new one. My question to you, dear readers (if there are any left out there), is this:

I use a Samsung (this one) and find it to be pretty nice.

I’ve had that LG monitor for about a year now and LOVE it.
This 28″ is excellent for 340$ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824254026 they also have a 25″ for cheaper than the LG you are considering. See the reviews you will be surprised. I am 100% satisfied.
I’m in a similar boat, but I’m kind of considering getting a projector. Now if I can just figure out how to project _around_ my head… 
One question I have is whether WoW supports the native widescreen resolution of a 23″ monitor. Do you get the full benefit of the monitor size without any “Silly Putty” stretching of the WoW graphics?
I just wanted to stop by and say I haven’t forgotten about you, or the guys from 4thehorde. I’ve been on an extended leave of absence from WoW for about 3 months. I now find myself in quite a pickle and it looks as though it may be a couple of additional weeks before I can return to the game I called home. As for your monitor, I wouldn’t have an idea. I still play on a 17 in CRT XD

I bought an Acer 23″ LCD a few months ago. Aside from some barely noticeable backlighting issues around the edges of the frame, it runs great and cost scads less than comparable sizes of ViewSonic and Samsung.
